Greg Joseph has been a fixture on the New York music scene for more than 25 years. Originally from Long Island, he earned his Bachelor of Music at UM and has since played with Kevin Hays, Chris Potter, Steve Wilson, Ira Sullivan, Madeleine Peyroux, Swamp Dogg and Syl Johnson, among many others.
On Broadway he was the drummer for Legally Blonde, and his theater credits also include Jersey Boys, Next to Normal, Avenue Q, Billy Elliot and the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. He leads the organ trio Greg Joseph and The Right Back, whose 2023 debut Drop The Rock on Sunnyside Records features Larry Goldings on organ and Steve Cardenas on guitar and was named an Album of the Week by Jazziz. He lives in Brooklyn.
